Class Evaluations: “Although Dr. Adams does not drip with charisma….”
Although Dr. Adams does not drip with charisma, his insight into art and culture is astonishing. I am riveted throughout his every lecture, and often feel that I should clap when each is finished. His wry wit keeps the tone of the course light, and the profound depth of his knowledge across multiple subjects and disciplines is frankly amazing. I have recommended this course to many friends.

Good class. Overwhelming at first, but made sense as the course continued.
Henry Adams cracks me up. All Professors should be as wacky as he is. They should also institute Dr. Adams’s incredibly brilliant crisp white shirt sleeves below monotone black as mandatory uniform for all professors at Case. Oh—and he’s a fox. If I could set aside my ethics & morals I would succumb to an illicit professor-student love affair with him. This, I feel, is the greatest compliment I could deliver to any educator. Dr. Adams, I love you.
